Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that lets us sell skin care product to you. Shopify processes some data on our behalf as a service provider; it does not use your personal information for its own purposes beyond what is needed to run the platform and prevent fraud.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

  • Contact details — name, email address, telephone number if you provide one.
  • Delivery details — shipping address, recipient name, and any delivery instructions.
  • Order records — items purchased, order number, date, value, currency, and the payment method type (we never see or store full card numbers).
  • Support correspondence — the content of emails you send us, including photographs you attach when reporting a damaged or incorrect item.
  • Optional details — skin concerns or routine information you choose to share when asking for product advice, and any review, photo or comment you submit.
  • Marketing preferences — whether you subscribed to our email list, and any opt-outs you have registered.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and connection data — browser type and version, operating system, screen size, language setting, IP address and approximate location derived from it.
  • Usage data — pages and products viewed, search terms entered on the store, referring page or campaign, time spent, and the sequence of pages visited.
  • Cookie identifiers — the identifiers described in section 4, including those set by Shopify and by analytics or advertising partners if those features are enabled.

Information from third parties

  • Payment processors — confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, fraud-risk signals, and the card brand and last four digits where the processor makes them available. Full card data goes directly to the processor and never reaches our servers.
  • Carriers — tracking events, delivery status and, where relevant, delivery exception notes.
  • Advertising and analytics platforms — aggregated campaign and conversion data, if you arrived at our store from an ad.

3. Why we use it

Purpose What that involves
Fulfilling orders Picking, packing, shipping, sending tracking, handling returns and issuing refunds.
Support Answering questions, resolving delivery problems, advising on products and keeping a record of what we told you.
Payments and fraud prevention Authorising payment, screening for fraudulent orders, chargeback handling and meeting accounting and tax obligations.
Store operation Keeping the store secure, diagnosing errors, measuring page performance, and remembering cart and preference settings.
Marketing (with consent where required) Sending emails you signed up for, and, where permitted, showing relevant ads or measuring their performance.
Legal compliance Responding to lawful requests, enforcing our terms, and keeping records the law requires us to keep.

Where we rely on consent — for marketing emails, for example — you can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawal does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

4. Cookies and similar tools

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to keep the store working and to understand how it is used:

  • Essential cookies — cart contents, checkout session, security and fraud prevention. These cannot be switched off because the store cannot function without them.
  • Preference cookies — language, region and currency selection.
  • Analytics cookies — which pages and products are viewed, how visitors move through the store.
  • Marketing cookies — set only where advertising features are active and, in some regions, only after you consent. They measure campaign performance and help avoid showing the same ad repeatedly.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop parts of the store working, including checkout. You can also opt out of many advertising cookies through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance, and through the settings on the relevant ad platform.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with parties who need it to make the store work:

  • Shopify — our hosting and e-commerce platform, which stores and processes order and account data on our behalf.
  • Payment processors — to authorise and settle payments and screen for fraud. Card details are handled by them, not by us.
  • Shipping and fulfilment partners — name, address, and where needed telephone number and email, so the parcel can be delivered and tracking sent.
  • Analytics and advertising providers — limited, usually pseudonymised data, used to measure performance.
  • Professional advisers and authorities — accountants, auditors, and regulators or law enforcement where we are legally obliged to disclose.
  • Acquirers — if the business is ever sold, merged or reorganised, data may transfer to the successor entity, which would remain bound by this policy or one no less protective.

6. International transfers

zanqivor™ is operated from Beijing, China, and our platform, payment and logistics providers may process data in other countries, including the United States and the countries where our carriers operate. That means your information may be handled in jurisdictions whose data-protection laws differ from those where you live.

Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps intended to keep its protection consistent with this policy — using contractual commitments with our providers, limiting transfers to what is necessary, and applying access controls and encryption in transit and at rest.

7. How long we keep it

  • Order and transaction records — kept for as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet accounting, tax and consumer-law record-keeping requirements.
  • Support correspondence — kept while your enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we have a record if the issue returns.
  • Marketing subscriptions — kept until you unsubscribe; after that, we keep only a minimal suppression record so we do not accidentally re-add you.
  • Analytics data — retained in aggregated or pseudonymised form for the period set by the relevant analytics provider.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask us to:

Access

Receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Correct

Have inaccurate or incomplete information amended.

Delete

Have information erased, subject to records we must keep by law.

Port

Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.

Object / restrict

Ask us to stop or pause processing, including for direct marketing.

Non-discrimination

We do not offer worse prices or service because you exercised a privacy right.

To make a request, email service@zanqivor.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and tell us what you would like us to do. We may need to verify your identity before acting — usually by confirming the email address used for the order. We respond within the timeframe required in your jurisdiction, and in any event within one month where that is the applicable standard.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can complain to your local data-protection authority. We would rather you told us first so we can try to fix it.

9. Children

Our skin care product range is sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use transport-layer encryption across the store, restrict internal access to personal information to people who need it to do their job, and rely on payment processors that maintain PCI-DSS compliance rather than handling card data ourselves. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep procedures for detecting and responding to incidents, and we will notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires it.

Please help by using a unique password for any store account, and by telling us immediately at service@zanqivor.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

11. Changes to this policy, and how to contact us

We may update this policy when our practices change or the law requires it. When we do, we revise the date at the top and, for material changes, we will tell you by email or by a notice on the store.
